Scandi Winter Poppies

Winter is here and it's been mild here in Wisconsin….so far. Every winter I start to obsess over vintage scandinavian designs and patterns. I've been cuddled in bed dreaming of pretty flowers and color combinations and made some designs. Check em' out here on the blog or in the Spoonflower shop. Enjoy!

Out & About : Sheboygan County Fair

Earlier this week we had taken a lil' trip to the Sheboygan County Fair, for a behind-the-scenes look at the fairgrounds before the fair begins. Crews of people were setting up farm equipment, bathing pigs and preparing food in their little food booths. I had to take a few snaps of some of my favorite spotted logos and signs. Nothing explains Wisconsin better than a county fair. It was absolute torture being around all of these food stands and unable to order anything! I love the "Cow Pie" logo of the winking cow… I really need that tattoo. =)

Sweet Trio

Good Morning! Lately everywhere I look I had seen the coolest vintage pod holders! Most of the holders I've come across have been quilted with one side the cutest kitsch bright fabrics. Then the other side have usually been a 1960's advertisement for an insurance company. I've seen them everywhere in the Sheboygan area and I need to start a collection. I was looking for anything I could on Etsy, but stumbled across this cute lil pattern from Sweet Memories. This pattern was so inspiring! I love the colors and polka dots.
