Pretties : Living Room Before & After

Hello! I have some exciting before and after photos to share with y'all! My husband & I purchased a new house back in August and I've been very busy designing it to fit our family. We began on the living room/office/library space. We decided to use ALL the space since the office/library was so awkwardly small.
*These before photos are taken directly from the listing we fell in love with*
This is a before shot of the living room. It's a great space with all the sunshine, hardwoods & sliding french doors.
After : Using both spaces for plenty of seating and lots of artsy decor and & color to make it home.
Before : We also loved the alcove! It was a great place to put a Christmas tree.
After : We used two colorful rugs to somewhat separate the spaces. We wanted to accompany every guest by making lots of seating as well as being able to see everyone from every space.
Before : Extremely traditional look to this home, but the fireplace was a gem!
After : The Vintage Victorian fireplace was a keeper. I never thought we would be "TV above the fireplace " people, but yeah, we are planning on getting a bigger one. You can peek into the dining room. (before & after photos coming soon)
Before : An extra space with huge bay windows looking over the neighborhood.
Honestly a very awkward space, but it is NICE and we wanted to somehow spend more time in it.
After : We shoved our giant couch and hairpin coffee table into the unused space. The couch fits almost perfectly! I love the office/library area not only for all the natural lighting, but there are a ton of outlets. We also took out the defunct ceiling fan for a unique black Edison light fixture.
After painting the dirty walls & ceiling, hanging art and some new bright furniture the space really came together. We love our home can't wait to renovate more rooms! Next up is the nursery!
